 Love On

In my early life I learned of

Discouragement in being young

Of how to feel when I found love.

I oft would hide heart and hold tongue.

But as my time and place went by,

I found encouragement to send

My love to others and to try

To hold that love until its end.

Because no love will ever last,

So cherish love that now is here.

Time will be that love will be past,

But future love may soon appear.

Some love has come, some love has gone.

But I'm encouraged to love on.
