Sense Sonnet - Pumper
Some Soundless Time
In early morning I do sit
At the kitchen table and hear
The in house silence benefit
Of peace and quiet to the ear.
No pitter patter of the feet.
No clatter banging from the hand.
Oh, the soundlessness is so sweet,
And oh so short in my time spanned.
No chitter chatter voices heard
Of where is this and why is that.
Precious moments of not one word
Echoing through my habitat.
Then come the sounds I'm used to, yup!
My family is getting up.
