 Break Up

A pair of socks was bought brand new

By a body who put them on.

One of the socks complained p.u.

The other sock, more pro than con.

As the two socks moved through their day,

The one sock kept up gripes of smell,

While all the other sock would say

Was that this gig was wearing well.

Later on when the socks came off

The one sock still argued bad scent.

The other sock's reply was scoff.

Into the wash and dry they went.

Two socks went in, just one came out.

A divorce was afoot no doubt.
