Sense Sonnet - Pumper

 Sunflower

When the young sunflower does bloom,

It tilts with the sun through the sky.

Studies of this do assume,

To get pollinators nearby

To feel the warmth of this flower,

And thus do visit as a guest,

Exemplifying the power

In the bloom's pollination quest.

When the sunflower does mature,

The urge for visitors has ceased.

Still wanting the sun's warmth for sure,

It stays pretty much facing east.

Each morn the sunflower is one

Set to welcome the rising sun.
