Tiz the season to be jolly,

One more successful Christmas Eve.

Old Elfred, the elf, by golly,

Looks at the clock and does believe

It's story time for all the elves.

Old Elfred reads to them each year.

The hard workers enjoy themselves.

Gone is Santa with the reindeer,

And now the elves have time to rest,

To hear some stories, and the one,

Old Elfred reading - he's the best.

The elves look forward to the fun.

Old Elfred does begin to read

Of a Merry Christmas indeed.
