Pontu - LP Zoo

A white-blotched river stingray be
A handsome dude and named Pontu.
A fish in water does be he
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
The white spots on his back are thought
To act as camouflage so that
When he dives under sand a lot,
He's hidden in the habitat.
And if there be a pressing threat
Pontu can use his tail to sting
A predator who won't forget
The ouch that such an act does bring.

Here in the Zoo it's a good guess
That Pontu is predatorless.
