Howdy Harvey and welcome to
African penguin colony
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
You are as cute as you can be.
Hatched out just a few months ago,
You're now checking out this and that,
Spreading your wings as to and fro
You waddle through the habitat.
You're losing most of your gray fuzz
And growing feathers black and white,
Getting ready for swimming cuz
You know you're not a bird of flight.

Quite soon you'll be seen in the pool
Giving that look of "Boy I'm cool."
