Polygamous flamingos do
Be a trio that can be seen,
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
Bonded together 'twixt and 'tween.
There's one female with two males that
Stick together year after year,
Busy about the habitat
In all in which they persevere,
Including egg incubation
In their built mud mound nest they share.
And even sneaky stuff be done -
Stealing from a flamingo pair.

Quite colorful trio no doubt,
