Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Bidet

The late 1600's in France,
Furniture makers did display
An item getting discreet  glance.
'Twas commonly called a bidet,
Meaning pony as a French word.
On the bidet one would straddle,
For best washing to be assured,
But did not require a saddle.
Turned on, allowing water to
Spray over lower body part
Upon completing a to do,
And getting off to a fresh start.

Cleansing of privates, so to seek.
Plumbing to plumbing, so to speak.
