Burning Man

The event is called Burning Man.
A wooden effigy is burned.
1986 - it began,
When a few San Franciscans yearned
A "radical self expression,"
And did the deed upon a beach.
And once one Burning Man was done,
More Burning Man was the beseech.
But the police came and said no
More Burning Man would be allowed.
The effigy would have to go.
Away went the Burning Man crowd.

An annual Burning Man kind.
