Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Chicago - Picasso

1967 - it came
From Picasso to Chicago,
A sculpture gaining world wide fame.
Fifty foot multi tonned to show
An unnamed what is it? of steel.
Be it a bird, baboon, or hound?
Be it a person of appeal?
Picasso made no defined sound.
Winged and long faced with beady eyes,
Maybe a cubist Al Capone,
Ever perching to gangsterize
The Windy City as be known.

The massive metal work of art,
Soul searching from Chicago's heart.
