Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Chicago - Buckingham Fountain

Buckingham Fountain, Chicago,
Considered the city's front door.
In Grant Park tiz a water show,
In sight of Lake Michigan shore.
1927 - a gift,
Made of pink marble that does hold
Six million liters splash to lift
Waters spread from basin bowled.
The center jet shoots water high,
Fifty meters up, up, away,
An awesome sight into the sky,
Sun or night lit upon display.

Always a wondrous sight to see,
Shows off Chicago, and it's free.
