Hyena Myth

Hyenas are misunderstood
By humans who believe in myth.
Most adjectives used are not good -
Ugly, villainous, thieving with
Stupid, skulking and cowardly,
And other assorted names bad.
Whereas in truth hyenas be
Making the best with what be had.
Life in the wild is very hard.
Hyenas have to hunt to live,
And have no time to be on guard
For bad raps humans choose to give.

Hyenas live on pure instinct
With no thought on what humans thinked.
