Snake Shake

Humans got to see something rare
On African safari when
Two male black mamba snakes vied there
For a female snake's heart to win.
Plaiting combat the males did do,
Locked in a weaving one on one -
The prize to be the right to woo
The female when the fight was done.
Biting would be part of the fight,
But not with venom meant to kill.
More of a "c'mon give up" bite,
Testing each snake's endurance skill.

Humans do see and do believe
A love triangle snakes do weave.
