Help another for no quick gain.
Goes beyond just cooperate,
And makes a rat seem more humane.
Rats remember apparently,
A favor from another rat,
Reciprocate accordingly,
A later tit for former tat.
Rats by now do probably know
Favors from humans are in lack.
Humans don't really like rats, so
No need to pay no favor back.

Rats reciprocate once they think
The ship they're on's about to sink.
