I'm Patsy, an aardvark I be,
Home comfy at Lincoln Park Zoo.
Nocturnal, so when you see me,
I'm prob'ly snoozing daytime do.
Neighbors are meerkats and giraffes
In the African Journey digs.
All of us have a lot of laughs,
Watching the human jags and jigs.
Ants and termites are the main course
That I would eat out in the wild.
Loose in the Zoo, they'd cause remorse,
So I have substitutes stockpiled.

Awake, I dig in the red dirt.
That's why I look like red alert.
