Sense Sonnet - Tickler

Little Girl's Talk

She visits the Lincoln Park Zoo,
A little girl with Papa bear.
She talks and talks as humans do,
But Papa doesn't seem to care.
"What kind of porridge do you eat?"
She asks, "And is it cold or hot?"
"Is your chair a big or small seat?"
"And is it breakable or not?"
"Is your bed too soft or too hard?"
"Is your house in these woods? Which way?"
He listens in silent regard,
Papa bear finally does say,

"I like a little girl that talks,"
"As long as she's not Goldilocks."
