Termites are a favorite snack
For the chimpanzees in the wild.
Deep in dirt mounds the termites pack.
Plant stems by the chimps are restyled,
Removing leaves and turned to sticks.
A short sharp stick is used to poke
A "fishing" hole in the mound mix.
Then a longer stick's used - no joke!
To lure the termites to grab on,
Extracted like a shish kabob.
Such a tool use phenomenon
To get the termites by the gob.

But peanut butter "termites" do.
