Bo and the Salute

President Reagan started it,
Saluting military seen.
Presidents since have done the bit,
And when messed up, it does turn mean.
The Prez saluted with a cup
Of coffee being clutched in hand,
Causing a furor to spill up,
Sending complaints across the land.
George W. almost did drop
First Dog Barney in a salute.
So when the Prez says, "Bo, let's bop."
I'm hanging on for dear life - shoot!

Gosh - holding me and coffee too,
It's doggone what the Prez might do.
