Sense Sonnet - Ticker

Stretch to Last Line

A Russian couple in Moscow
Are taking a walk down the street
He feels something wet hit his brow
It could be rain or snow or sleet.
And then she says, "It feels like snow."
Just then a communist comes by.
"Let's ask comrade Rudolph - he'll know."
So they ask Rudolph - his reply.
"It's raining of course," and walked on.
"I still think it's snow," she persists,
Now that Rudolph has come and gone.
Irritatedly, he insists,

"It's not snow. It's rain. Is that clear?"
"Cuz Rudolph the Red knows rain, dear!"
