Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Little Brown Bat - LP Zoo

A little brown bat is my name.
I'm little. I'm brown. I'm a bat.
No one really disputes that claim.
North America's where I'm at,
Insectivore, bugs I do eat.
I echolocate to find prey.
My ears can hear a tasty treat.
Then back to the roost where I stay
Spring, summer and fall I change roost
From day and night, early and late.
Then find a spot in sleep induced,
During winter, I hibernate.

Visit me at Lincoln Park Zoo.
May or may not awake for you.
