I am Maku, a hands off Dad
Of son, King, cuz with black rhinos
Males in rearing roles would be bad.
That's just the way that nature goes.
So Mom, Kapuki, is with King
In their own habitat next door.
Curiosity is my thing.
If I stretch, I can just peek o'er.
I know babies are cute and all,
But lots of time, no kid to see.
Visitors hopes and dreams do fall.
I wanna yell, "Come look at me!"
