Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Diana Dream Dip

Diana Nyad tried once more
To swim from a Cuba sea beach
To a Florida sandy shore,
Some ninety miles plus - quite a reach!
Training lots her sixty four years,
At last she made her swim come true.
In a world of most cheers, some jeers.
She did what she wanted to do.
Marathon swimming does not boast
A whole bunch of celebrity.
But Diana, from coast to coast,
Proves what any young girl can be.

Stroke after stroke, a dream to find,
One giant swim for womankind.
