Sense Sonnet - Tickler

Royal Proclamation

President Reagan and the Queen
Went for a horse ride at his ranch.
The Queen's horse farted so obscene,
Causing Her Majesty to blanche.
They continued riding along
In awkwardness and silently.
What should be said to right this wrong?
The Queen, quite uncomfortably,
Had this to say 'bout this release.
"Regrettably, I must confide,"
"Some things royalty cannot cease."
To which the President replied,

"I'm so glad you told me, of course,"
"Or I'd a thought it was the horse."
