Sense Sonnet - Pumper

ReBox

I went from forest to the mill,
Extracted, dried and flattened out,
Shaped and sized so some stuff could fill
Inside of me and shipped about.
Now when my first job is all done,
I'm often smashed and thrown away
To landfills where I am just one,
Spewing forth methane gas each day.
Instead of that, I could do more.
Send me back to the mill to be
Where my usefulness can restore.
Keep sending me back - save a tree.

Help me - opportunity knocks.
Just recycle this cardboard box.
