Out of Control

The shooter got guns legally,
And shot them in a theatre,
Knowing full well there would not be
Others with guns that might deter.
So now continues the debate,
To bear or not to bear by law.
Less guns and less the murder rate?
Safer - more legal guns to draw?
Gun control laws in Chicago
Try to control guns to the max.
Would the murder rate be less so
If the gun laws became more lax?

Chicago - lots of murder done,
Mostly by an illegal gun.
