Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Caddisfly

Humans call me the Caddisfly.
I got the name from caddys men,
Vendors, who to their clothes would tie
Their wares to sell round way back when.
I guess it's cuz I make my case
To keep me in safe and cozy.
I start with some leaves on the base,
And then add stones quite prettily,
Then spit my silk to use as glue.
Tiz my unique building syndrome.
I eat the leaves - oh yes I do,
Till I grow up and leave my home.

Oft my old home is seized upon
By folks as jewelry to don.
