The nanny state makes riders wear
Seat belts while riding in a car.
Some say drivers drive with less care,
Feeling all safe and snug - bizarre!
So nanny state will feel the need
To save all pedestrians from
Cars coming at them with no heed,
Cuz the belted driver is dumb.
So a safety belt will be law.
All pedestrians must wear it,
To detect and alarm - ah hah!
If a car is about to hit.

Nanny state is sure gonna put
Its safety seal on all afoot.
