Case of the Floating Feet

'Tis quite a mystery, yes 'tis.
Human feet washing up ashore
In Vancouver - a nasty biz.
The years go by and more and more
Feet are found clad in running shoes.
Some DNA I.D.'s been done.
The footholders had the bad blues.
It is surmised that they had run
To a bridge and jumped off, then died.
The shoes did keep the feet intact.
Freed by nature, feet mummified,
Flowed the same as currents did act.

The cycle of the feet repeat,
Last part in depressions's defeat.
