Sense Sonnet - Steamer

Fighting Founders

Jefferson and Hamilton did
Begin the two party process
In the U.S. which flipped the lid
Of raw politics more or less.
The two would fight all tooth and nail
At cabinet meetings about
The fed government's role and scale.
Ham thought big was better no doubt.
President George tried to keep peace
'Twixt and 'tween his quarreling duet.
But the battles never would cease.
The two parties keep fighting yet.

Party to party, taunt to taunt,
Jefferson and Hamilton haunt.
