Could death have been accidently?

Tossing reasons out one by one,
Hoping for a case of some doubt,
And then when all was said and done,
Reasonable doubting won out,
By a jury of Casey's peers,
Who had no choice but weigh maybes.
Justice cares not of cheers or jeers,
Just common sense from legalese.
