The powers that be of D.C.
Including pundit parasites
Proclaim the debt ceiling to be
Too complex for mere commonites.
Oh the ceiling, it must be raised,
Or else the sky will surely fall.
Those who think otherwise are crazed
To dare to take D.C.'s game ball,
And throw it in another way
To show D.C. for what it is,
A bunch of brats who like to play
Politics with the nation's biz.
