My Daddy Beats Me

My Daddy beats me awful bad
'Cause I'm his kid and just turned ten.
Momma can't do nothing. She's sad.
She and I sometimes now and then
Go to a park that is close by.
We have a lot of fun while there.
When Daddy beats me I do try
To go to that park in mind, where
I can stay until Daddy's done
Doing his beating up on me.
Right now I've got nowhere to run,
Except that park, real or not be.

My Daddy is an angry man.
I'll grow out of him - that's my plan.
