The young should just enjoy the now
And not have fret on what 'twill be,
Entitlements, a sacred cow,
Do not do well in scrutiny.
The politicians kick the can.
It's just the way that things are done.
The thought of pay as we go plan
Is just too hard and is no fun.
Live as though today is the last.
In current me isms partake.
The future has yet to be cast.
Ignore it for sanity's sake.

'Tis said that ignorance is bliss.
