New York City charges big bucks
For a taxi to roll the streets.
Bureaucratic muckity mucks
Squeeze on anything that secretes
Dollars, without any good sense
Of what is for the public good.
Powers that be strive to dispense
Thou Shalts on how the public should
Live within the nanny city.
As deemed bad for the public health,
Polluting foul nitty gritty,
Gas run taxis bring unclean wealth.

New York City will pass a law -
Only taxi is a rickshaw.
