I Fly

What about birds and bugs make flight
For them such a natural ease.
Hi tech and time - no may nor might,
Humans too will fly on a breeze.
Who knows what suits there will need be.
Perhaps just popping a pill will
Protect the soft human body.
So any garb will fill the bill
Of flying oneself through the air,
Around the block or round the Earth.
With birds and bugs the up we'll share,
But we'll want more, for what it's worth.

The "beam me up Scotty" sci fi
Will one day be the way to fly.
