Insult, then Cry

Of Islamic faith, I do know
That shoes are considered unclean;
And the sole of my shoe to show
To another is to demean.
Cameras were on evil Bush,
I threw my shoe for all to see.
It missed, but there's a worldwide push
To give hero status to me.
Sadly, my mother heard the news
Of what I'd done and my arrest.
Her consciousness she then did lose,
And died from being overstressed.

I did not know the fate that flew,
When I took off and threw my shoe.
