Sense Sonnet - Steamer

Having Some Consideration

The into Manhattan commute,
During the morning rush hour,
Is never a good time to toot.
Snails' pace is the fastest power,
Then traffic comes to a dead stop,
And stays that way till afternoon,
Due to someone on the bridge top
Who deems a jump now opportune.
At last the poor soul is talked down,
And rushed away by ambulance -
No delays - to Manhattan town,
Leaving the rest of us to chance.

If I were planning suicide,
Commuter needs would be my guide.
