Shot Not

A scientist, before she died,
Found the way to make all firearms
Fully nonfirable worldwide,
Causing multitudes of alarm.
It was through use of satellites,
Zapping into each gun's barrel,
And taking molecular bites.
Then, putting the shooters in peril,
Loaded ammunition would not
Act the way it was meant to work.
Instead of exiting when shot,
The ammo stuck fast with a jerk.

No where, no more, no working gun.
