Sense Sonnet - Tickler

All Way Sucker

A tenderfoot was talking to
An oldtimer about snakebites.
The youth was asking what to do
If bitten in certain body sites.
"What about a bite on the arm?"
"Git a friend to open the wound."
"Suck out the poison, spit out the harm."
"Clean and patch to git it fine tuned."
"What about a bite on the thigh?"
"Same as an arm - open and shut."
"Then git yourself some quick shuteye."
"What about a bite on the butt?"

The oldtimer said, "Git bit thar,"
"Then you'll know who your true friends are."
