Sense Sonnet - Tickler

Spin the Yarn

Cat lovers one and all have got
A tale or two to tell about
How felines are a crafty lot.
Tom tops them all without a doubt.
I bought a big yarn ball on sale,
And brought it home for Tom to play.
He hooked that ball with paws and tail.
The two of them rolled on their way.
Around and round the room Tom spun,
Weaving away with yarn unwound,
Till finally Tom's romp was done.
"For you," so said Tom's purring sound.

The sweater's got just one thing wrong -
One sleeve is just a tad too long.
