Sense Sonnet - Pumper
In Anticipation
Each dusk they know is nature's way
To tell them that a rest they need
Until next called on for display,
Anticipating, yes indeed.
So as the night falls, they all seek
To take a respite for a while.
Of course from time to time they peek
For time to come, they know they'll smile,
When once again they'll be in place
To welcome surely their best friend.
So to the east, they now all face,
As finally night comes to end.
They danced when dawn opened its eyes,
Sunflowers set for next sunrise.
