 Beach Strollers, Then and Now

To Florida we two retired,

In time to place we had planned out,

Fulfilled the dream we'd long desired,

Where we shared memories no doubt,

Where we'd honeymooned long ago.

Having no money, we camped here

Upon this beach we came to know,

Sharing young love we held so dear.

Now comfortable moneywise,

Achieving our retirement goal,

With a condo just the right size,

Upon this beach we love to stroll.

We strolled this beach, lovers in youth,

And now still stroll, long in the tooth.
