Sense Sonnet - Acher

 Wish Will Come

Summers in Chicago oft give

Some days so hot and humid that

It's hard outside for me to live,

Thus air conditioned habitat

Is where I'm forced to stay inside,

Wishing I were out and about,

Enjoying the Lake and parks, the pride

Of Chicago, summer no doubt

When most of my enjoyment is,

Except on those days when such hot

Make my mind and body, gee whiz,

Long for Chicago winter sought.

When worst of hot, humid summer be,

Invincible winter's wished by me.
