Sense Sonnet - Steamer

 Delay Further Delayed

At the airport in a long line,

Just to go through security,

Example of manmade design

To delay innocent like me.

Thank goodness I had gotten here

Hours earlier than my flight,

Because I knew time would appear

To just get stuck just out of spite.

'Cross the room a familiar face,

My next door neighbor waiting too,

And like me, stuck in time and place.

Get his attention I did do.

Five TSA guys did attack,

All I did was to yell, "Hi Jack."
