Sense Sonnet - Acher
Nikola Tesla
Nikola Tesla, brilliant mind,
Invented voltage marvels to
Benefit future humankind,
Fortunes he made and lost to do.
In New York City hotels he
Lived alone and would move around
When large unpaid bills came to be.
Age 75 he was bound
For cover of Time magazine.
But his great mind had lost its spark.
Old and penniless he'd be seen
Feeding the pigeons in the park.
Alone in his room, Tesla died,
Inventions in mind left inside.
