 Kept Faith in God

The Bible tells of Job who be

A wealthy man, body and soul,

Blessed with lots of good family,

Vast land and stock he did control.

And a true man of God be Job,

Causing Satan to make a plan,

And Satan went to God to probe

If  suffering Job be God's man.

So God allowed Satan to take

All good from Job and leave him bad.

Suffering Job did not forsake

Love and faith in God, Job still had.

Through all, for God's will Job would pray,

Lord giveth, Lord taketh away.
