 No Crying Out Loud

Often when I feel bad inside

But around others I do be,

I'd be embarrassed if I cried,

So they hear laughing come from me,

When I believe it best that I

Put on a happy but false face,

Because if others see me cry

I could become a pitied case.

And others pitying me would

Make me feel worse on my behalf.

So when I feel bad it is good

To cry inside, but outside laugh.

Silent crying, laughing aloud,

I practice lots, so quite endowed.
