Sense Sonnet - Pumper
Summer Dream
While walking in the woods one day,
A soothing stream I did walk to.
This stream to me did seem to say
This be a place and time to do
A peaceful rest from my long walk.
And so next to the stream I sat,
And for a while we two did talk.
I then found myself lying flat
Upon the grass and very soon
The stream in its lullaby spell
Did sing me off in serene tune
Into sweet dozing I would dwell.
Where did I find a summer dream?
Within my nap beside a stream.
