 Lilith

I am called Lilith in folklore.

God made me first woman in life,

Could not stand Adam anymore,

I was his equal as the wife.

The quarreling with him would not stop.

He insisted 'neath him I lie.

But I desired to be on top,

So said hell with it and bye bye.

I did leave Eden for a while,

But a return trip I did make

When Eve showed up, I did beguile

Her to sin as the sneaky snake.

Since then, long standing rumors be,

Newborn's survival's up to me.
